In the meantime, I'll definitely make a note of the motherboard you have. Try one with a Fresco Logic or a Renesas USB controller. Thanks for letting me take a look - it does look like you'll need a USB 3.0 PCIe adapter to use Windows Mixed Reality. I was hoping based on the specs of your motherboard to find more USB 3.0 controllers on board but it looks like your motherboard has two ASMedia USB 3.0 controllers. So it doesn't seem to be a difference in the driver that's installed. The AMD USB 3.10 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.10 (Microsoft) has driver version 9.125 The AMD USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.0 (Microsoft) has driver version 9.125 So unfortunately not much that I can see. Legacy USB Support: Allows USB keyboard/mouse to be used in MS-DOS Here is some information from Gigabyte's manual that's relevant:Ĭhipset+ASMedia® USB 3.1 Gen 2 Controller:ġ x USB Type-C™ port on the back panel, with USB 3.1 Gen 2 supportġ x USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A port (red) on the back panelĢ x USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A ports (red) on the back panelĦ x USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports (2 ports on the back panel, 4 ports available through the internal USB headers)Ĥ x USB 2.0/1.1 ports (available through the internal USB headers)Ĥ x USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports on the back panelĪs far as BIOS settings go, here's what I found

I have two USB 3.0 headers, and two USB 2.0 headers. The 2.0 ports have their own cable that plugs into the header on my motherboard. I have no rear 2.0 ports but I still assumed they would have their own controller.
